Across the world people are uniting for peace and calling for an end to war in Ukraine. The people of Rossendale join that call which is supported by the vast majority of people in Britain.
We oppose the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We call for an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of all Russian troops. We also recognise this is a conflict thirty years in the making, a conflict in which Britain is playing a provocative role - talking up war, decrying diplomacy and increased military deployments to neighbouring countries.
JOIN US IN RAWTENSTALL ON SUNDAY as part of the No to War in Ukraine Global Day of Action to call for an end to the War in Ukraine, the withdrawal of Russian troops and opposing NATO escalation.
