Ceasefire Now!   Russian Troops Out!  No NATO Expansion!

Today, we condemn Putin’s brutal invasion of Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is a disaster for the people of Ukraine and a terrible threat to us all, increasing the danger of nuclear war. We call for a ceasefire and a withdrawal of all Russian troops. We recognize that the expansion of NATO has helped cause the crisis and call for an end to expansion. We also oppose broad sanctions that will harm ordinary Russians and call on all countries to provide humanitarian assistance and safe haven. We ask for the renewal of lapsed arms control treaties that the US abandoned with Russia and for conscientious negotiations and steadfast diplomatic efforts toward peace.
