A North Shore of Nova Scotia event for the Global Day of Action to Stop the War in Ukraine: Russian Troops Out, No NATO Expansion will be a gathering at 2pm on Saturday, March 5th at the Tatamagouche Community Land Trust, 11 Alex Cox Rd., Tatamagouche, at the barns. Please note that although the Global day of Action is on March 6th, our event will be on March 5th due to the weather coming up on the 6th. We will create a peace sign with reed grasses in the snow, based on a didukh, a Ukrainian decoration made from a wheat sheaf. Then we will share our thoughts about the war and related issues and hopefully hear from people who have a connection with Ukraine. We will take photos, from the high window in the barn, of the peace sign with those who wish to be in the photos around it. Photos could be posted as part of the Global Day of Action if those present want them to be.
