As part of a Global Day of Action on March 6, 2022, North Texans will gather on the Grassy Knoll in Dallas to call for an immediate ceasefire, negotiations, and peace in Ukraine!

The war in Ukraine is a disaster for the people of Ukraine and a terrible threat to us all and to the planet, considering environmental impacts and the increasing danger of nuclear war!
We call for an IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE and negotiated settlement. We recognize that the expansion of NATO and the aggressive approach of Western states have helped cause the crisis and we demand an end to NATO expansion and to NATO itself. We stringently oppose sanctions that would harm ordinary Russians and we call on all nations to welcome and assist refugees fleeing war.
In the wake of the disastrous Russian invasion of Ukraine, we hope that, going forward, all caring peoplewill turn to finding a way to peace and stability rather than spreading demonization and hate that could push opposing nuclear powers into World War III...and certain annihilation.
There have already been many anti-war demonstrations in Russia and in other countries. What we need now is a vital, massive, unified response by peace-loving people around the world to say:
No to War in Ukraine!
YES to Negotiations and PEACE!!
NO to NATO!!!
