Martin Luther King, Jr. Weeks of Actions - Philadelphia

Join CODEPINK and Brandywine Peace Community for the Anniversary of U.N. Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons Entry Into Force. Join us for a public reading of the UN Nuclear Ban Treaty and the Philadelphia City Council Resolution of Support as well as the reading of the names of all the ratifying nations.

It is extremely important that we build a strong, unified antiwar movement that can break through the media propaganda and censorship and end the US military aggression around the world. Today working people face escalating costs of food and energy, recession, growing insecurity and attacks on efforts to unionize. The continuing wars and military provocations have brought us to the brink of nuclear war.
